The most important thing that is necessary for trouble-free working with the Freestyle Libra Monitoring is the correct installation. These rules not only reduce the risk of damage to the sensor, but also ensure its quality of work.

1. At the back of the upper arm

   Make sure your skin is dry when you are applying new sensor. And we mean really dry! Don’t do it after taking a shower a bath or after swimming. Wait for at least 8 hours after your arm had any contact with water. Otherwise the sensor may not hold on your arm as long as expected. Put the sensor in the recommended place: not on the side of the upper arm, but on the back. Place with a firm hand and a sharp push. Do not push slowly or with little effort, as this may cause the cannula to bend when installing the Libra sensor. 2. 24 hours ahead.
